My Fourth of July Menu I remember the Fourth of July growing up. Every summer, I spent my days with my Grams and usually celebrated the holiday with my cousins on my dad's side of the family. We would spend the entire day outside lighting firecrackers, smoke bombs, and snakes, convinced we had an endless supply of energy. Whenever the heat got the best of us, we'd run into my aunt's house, grab a Coke and a snack, and head right back outside to continue our "important work."

For this edition of Summer at The Lavender Hazel, I wanted to create a menu inspired by the feeling of a vintage garden gathering. My vision was simple: fresh flowers, crystal serving pieces, bright citrus flavors, seasonal berries, and a self serve mimosa bar that encouraged guests to relax and enjoy the morning.

This series was created to inspire simple but beautiful summer gatherings centered around connection, comfort, hospitality, and slowing down enough to enjoy the season.
